OOTD || She Likes Laney Floral Print Lace Drape Back Midi Dress

I've always been a big fan of the midi dress as its a must have staple item in your wardrobe. They are so easy to wear and yet so versatile at the same time as you really can dress them up or down. The midi dress is perfect to extenuate your figure and show off those curves in all the right places. Right now I am particularly loving this gorgeous floral print midi* from She Likes, not only does it look amazing on, the detailing on it is just beautiful.

I was instantly drawn to this black and beige floral printed midi on the She Likes website as the print on it is perfect for this time of year and is one of those dresses that can take you step into summer with. I love how the print is not your typical standard floral print design, yet it's so detailed at the same time. What really makes this midi dress special and a stand out from other midi dresses out there has to be the lace drape detailing on the back of the dress. It definitely adds a bit of glamour to this midi, which would make this perfect for an evening out to dinner or special occasion - It would even be perfect to wear on a night out in the town as it's so flattering on. I love how the lace detailing at the back combined with the floral print makes this midi dress ever so girly and feminine, yet creates lots of drama at the same time.

I've gone for a daytime look with this dress, as I was popping out for an afternoon lunch with the girls. I've paired the dress with some matching black and beige peep-toe court shoes from next, which compliment the dress lovely. If you really wanted to dress this dress up, you could opt for some platform high heels. Alternatively this dress could work perfectly dressed down for the daytime, pairing it with some cute little pumps, wearing a bowler hat to accessorise with it, which will give you that preppy look - Perfect for college or a day of serious shopping.

I love everything about this dress, and I would even go as far to say that it's possibly the nicest and most flattering midi dress that I own. I think this would compliment so many body shapes and you could make it work to suit your own personal style. I can't wait to see what different ways in which I can wear it. This Laney floral print Lace dress is such a bargain for £18.00 and if you wish to treat yourself to it, you can find the link here. If floral prints are not quite you, She Likes have a wide range of midi dresses all with intricate and gorgeous detailing for you to choose from - Plus loads of other items of clothing which are very on trend right now.

Do you love this dress as much as I do? What's your favourite item on the She Likes website? I would love to know your thoughts.

Primark Haul | Holiday Shop

Hello lovely ladies, I hope you've all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend and have enjoyed the glorious sunshine... Let's hope it's here to stay! Some of you maybe aware that I am heading off on holiday in just under two weeks (super excited). With a holiday just around the corner can only mean one thing, a holiday shopping trip is due and what better place to go to other than Primark for some essentials and bargains. I thought I would share with you today what I picked up as I love seeing a good old Primark Haul. I think us bloggers count for Primarks very own website as we seam to spread the word on what sort of bits they have in store. Hopefully this haul will give you a good glimpse on what they have to offer for your holiday bits and bobs.

I'm loving this black and white Aztec print right now, and I'm spotting it printed on so many clothes in all kinds of shops. When it comes to little summer dresses, I love the style of skater dresses as I find they are so flattering on. So when I saw this Aztec printed skater dress it was love at first sight and I just had to pop it in my basket. For £5.00 it's a right bargain and I can see me getting a lot of wear out of this. The dress has been made from a thin and light fabric, so it will be perfect on those super hot days while I'm away.

Sticking with the Aztec theme, I spotted these black and white Aztec cotton shorts. When I'm away on holiday I live in little cotton shorts as I find them super comfy and I think these little ones are just too cute and will look perfect to show off your tanned pins.

As soon as I walked into Primark I saw these ditzy heart printed shorts displayed right at the front and knew I had to have them. At £10.00 they are little more on the pricey side for Primark. Having said this, they are made from a good quality material that has quite a silky feel to them and they do feel quite weighted. I love the little zip detailing on each side of the shorts and how the elasticated waist makes these a comfortable fit. They do come up fairly high waisted which is something I tend to go for in shorts and they really do look lovely on. These will look perfect with a little white basic top tucked into them and I thought that they would be great to wear for the evening.

Usually I'm not a T-Shirt kinda girl, but when your going to a country as hot as Turkey, covering up your shoulders is a sometimes a must. When I went last year I had to wear a few tee's over my bikini whilst in the pool as the sun was just way too hot for my skin and as much as I love tanning, I don't want my skin to burn in anyway. I picked up these two basic tees as I love the bright colours and think they will be perfect for holiday. The bright neon pink one is a little over-sized and you can wear it off the shoulder, which I love. Equally I love the leopard printed jade tee as the fit of this is lovely - It is a little on the sheer side, but with you sporting your bikini top underneath this gives a lovely holiday look. I love how when this is on you can see little leopard printed spots all over the tee and as a lot of you know I'm a big fan of leopard print!

Next in my basket was just a few of Primarks basics. I always go into Primark for their strap tops as they are made from quite a stretchy material and fit lovely on - How pretty is the one in the coral shade? It will look gorgeous with a tan :) I also picked up some more cotton shorts as they are great to pop over your bikini going to and from the pool.

It would be a crime to go on holiday and not pack a pair of trusty denim shorts as they are always a holiday essential and can be paired with just about anything. I have loads of denim shorts in my wardrobe, ranging from light to dark denim, but nothing as bright or as beautiful as these bright aqua ones that I picked up... They are be-aut-iful. I just adore the colour of these and everything about them screams out holiday to me. I cannot wait to wear these as not only will they look good on holiday, but make a staple item for my wardrobe all summer.

I cannot go into Primark without picking up a pair of their pyjamas and seeing as I'm going away I thought I would treat myself to a new pair. I love my bright colours, leopard prints and bows so these are the perfect pyjamas for me! How cute is the little bow on the tee!

For the longest time I have been debating about what kind of hat I wanted to take away on holiday with me. I was torn between a big floppy one just like the one in the picture above or a classic snap back to keep out those strong rays at bay and give you that little bit more protection from the sun. When I was in Primark I tried on this one and I fell in love - It looks amazing on and is very Audrey Hepburn. I love that the white will go with a lot of the things that I picked up and gives you that little bit of extra style and drama to your holiday outfits.

I saw these pool/bikini bags floating around in a lot of Primark hauls last year, but I never got around to picking one up. This year however I decided that this would be a holiday essential. I don't plan on putting my bikini in this as I don't really understand why you would need too. But these little plastic waterproof bags are so ideal for around the pool and beach to pop in those items such as money, your phone or camera - Items that need that little bit of protection from the water or sand. I love the little studs on this one and the little strap handle will make this ideal for walking around the Turkish markets.

Here it is again, that black and white Aztec print (obsessed much?). Flip Flops are always a holiday essential and I could not pick these ones up, for the price you can't go wrong and they will be perfect for those late night sunset walks along the beach. For a £1.00 they are pretty comfy too, which is always a nice bonus.

And last but not least, I picked up these adorable dolly shoes whilst browsing the shoe section. These are not so much for my holiday, as I've already started wearing them for work. I love the dusty coral shade of these, so perfect for the summer and the cute bow detailing on them makes these adorable. I can't quite believe that these were only £6.00 as there is so much detailing on them. If your a girly girl like me then these are a must have and will look lovely with your little summer dresses.

So that's everything that I picked up from Primark and now I've got my holiday wardrobe just about sorted, I'm even more excited to be heading away. I would love to know if you like any of the things that I've picked up or to see what you've picked up from Primark recently. Let me know in the comments below.

Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter | Lime Coolada

Hi gorgeous girls. Firstly I would like to appologise for my lack of blogging over the last week, I found myself super stressed, super busy and to top it all off came down with this awful cold that seams to be going around. I still have a few sniffles, but I am feeling loads better - Onwards and upwards as they say.

So yesterday after feeling exhausted from my previous week, I found myself having a serious case of Monday blues! So what better way to combat that mundane Monday feeling than popping into Boots on my lunch break to cheer myself up - Anyone else with me there? Other than picking up some sun care products for my holiday, there wasn't anything I was in desperate need to pick up, so I headed right to the sun section where all the sun-creams and lotions where. When it comes to picking up essential sun care products for you holidays, Hawaiian Tropic are always on the top of my list and a firm favourite. So I was completley overjoyed when I saw that Boots were having a half price sale on all their Hawaiian Tropic products and in the offer I spotted the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter in Lime Coolada and I just had to have it. I bought this last year for my holiday and I fell in love with it so much so that I needed to take one away with me for this year.

I thought I would give it a little review on my blog today because as a lot of you are all aware by now I love my body butters. And although this claims to be an after sun product, it works fabulously as an everyday body butter for an extra indulgent treat.  I had to pick up two little pots, as I simply can't wait for my holiday to start using this. First of all let me start with the smell of this body butter - I cannot tell you how much I am in love with the scent of it, it's just divine and as soon as you open the lid, you are whisked away to a sunny place and every memory you've had from previous holidays comes flooding back to you. As you guessed by the name 'Lime Coolada' this moisturiser has a delicious lime scent running though it. However its such a cocktail of scents as you can also smell mango and coconut which creates that perfect holiday smell. The lime makes this smell so refreshing and just heavenly and do I dare say good enough to eat? For those of you who love Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush scent products, will love this - For me I think it smells nothing like the Sugar Crush, but if you like that lime smell in your body butters then this one from Hawaiian Tropic will be definitely winner for you - In my opinion I think its one of the nicest smelling body butters you can get your beauty mitts on.

As for a moisturiser, Hawaiian Tropic have got it spot on. This body butter has been enriched with shea and cocoa butter, with a bit of avocado oil thrown in there too - All these things work amazingly and nourishing and hydrating your skin. The formula of this body butter has a really thick consistency, but it massages into your skin like a dream. I find that it sinks pretty quickly into your skin too, which makes this perfect for using in the morning, as you don't have to wait too long for drying time. As it is an after sun, it has that cooling effect on your skin also, which I love and is one of the reasons which makes this a perfect after sun body butter too. That cooling feeling is just what you need for a long hard day sunbathing by the pool or in your back garden! I love how you can pop this on your skin in the morning and your skin is left feeling hydrated thoughout the whole day - Not to mention that your skin also smells like you've just come back from holiday hours after it's application. When I used this on my holiday last year, it worked amazingly as an after sun, and if you are travelling to warmer climates this year, then I can't recommend enough that you pick up some Hawaiian Tropic After Sun body butter. Even their bottles of regular After Sun work amazingly at hydrating your skin after a long hard day sunbathing. I also find that using Hawaiian Tropic products has always helped to prolong my tan whenever I've been away, which is another reason why I always use these on my travels. If your going to put all that time and effort into getting the perfect tan whilst away, you want to invest in some good sun care products that are going to keep your tan looking flawless and Hawaiian Tropic products do just that - Plus they make your skin smell dreamy and leave it feeling silky soft.

Hawaiian Tropic have also ticked all my boxes when it comes to packaging too. I love this bright neon little tub as it's so eye catching and perfect for the summer. If anything is going to help get you excited about the summer approaching then this body butter will sure pop a smile on your face every time you see it there on your dresser.

Normally this body butter retails at £10.49 for 200ml from Boots, which is a little on the pricey side, but they do have it on offer for half price right now along with all the other sun care products from Hawaiian Tropic - Which is a complete bargain for a little pot of yummyness. If your going away this year, I would really suggest that you take a look at the Hawaiian Tropic section in Boots, just have a whiff of all the products and I'm sure you'll be just like me and sold just from their gorgeous holiday scents. And if your not going away, then I would really recommend treating yourself to one of their body butters, especially while they are on offer, I promise you, you wont be disappointed ;)

Have you tried any Hawaiian Tropic products yet? What's your favourite sun care product. As always I would love to know your thoughts.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 In 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Over the last few months it seams that micellar solution based cleansers have taken the beauty world by storm, starting with the much raved about Bioderma. It feels that every beauty blogger has tried the famous Bioderma or some other amazing dupe. Sadly it has to be said, that I've not been fortunate as to getting my beauty mitts on a bottle of my own. Although I do have a secret sample of it, and you'll understand exactly what I mean if you've read my last post all about the Escentual Micellar Blind Trail which you can read here.

I've noticed that in recent beauty blogger chats the L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution has been popping up in various tweets, with a lot of you loving it and an even more amount of you wanting to try it and see what all the fuss is about. I have been using this everyday for the last month now and thought it was the perfect time to get my thoughts up about it, which will hopefully help you make a decision as to whether you need this bottle sitting on your beauty shelves or not. I for one am a big fan of this water based cleanser/makeup remover from L'Oreal and here's why....

The L'Oreal Micellar Solution makes taking off all you makeup a complete dream and completly fuss free. If your a beauty who finds it hard to get into a routine of removing your makeup before bed, then this the solution to all your troubles and it works far better than any makeup wipe I've used and it only take a few little squirts onto a cotton pad to melt away all your makeup. I find that it takes me around two to three cotton pads to take away all traces of my makeup. What is really fantastic about this water based solution is that it removes your eye makeup without smearing it all around your face! Whenever I use a makeup wipe, within seconds I find that I have a dirty mixture of eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow running down my face and it always makes me cringe to think that I'm rubbing this into my face whist removing my makeup. To be honest I'm not really sure how the micellar solution works all its magic and takes away even waterproof makeup so easy and without any smears - And the fact that it feels and looks just like water is slightly baffling to me. But what I do know that a micellar water has small microscopic oil molecules which enables it to remove any makeup, pretty smart I think? All micellar waters including Bioderma work in this way and all claim to have the same effects and I really do think that this one from L'Oreal is up there with the best of the bunch - I've been putting some of the best french micellar waters to the test recently and can easily say that this one from L'Oreal gives all the more pricey ones some serious competition. As you can see from the above pictures the L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution claims to do three things:

One: Dissolve all your makeup
Two: Unclog pores and remove impurities
Three: Tones and Soothes Skin

After trying and testing this out I can honestly say that I can put a big fat tick against these three claims from L'Oreal. My makeup is removed in an instant, even stubborn lipstick stains are no trouble for this cleanser. I find that my skin feels and looks a lot brighter and as I am one who suffers from a bit of an oily t-zone, I find that this solution helps to balance out the oils in my skin pretty well and my skin feels ever so clean after using it. As for soothing and toning your skin, it also works wonders. The L'Oreal micellar solution is completely alcohol and perfume free which means there is none of that stinging feeling on your face afterwards - Which makes it perfect for those of you who have sensitive skin. I do find that my face can feel a little dry after using this, but that's nothing that your evening moisturiser wont fix!

Overall I love this micellar solution from L'Oreal and can't fault it in anyway. What I really love about this is that is so widely available to us beauty and it has such a fantastic price tag. I bought mine from Boots for £4.99, but I've heard and seen that all sorts of shops including supermakets such as Tesco and Asda have this on offer right now. I can't recommend this product enough beauties and would love to all to ditch your makeup wipes and switch to this - Not only will your skin be thanking you for it, but this product will last you for ages too as a little really does go along way.

Have you tried this water based cleanser from L'Oreal yet beauties? And how do you think it compares to all the other micellar solutions out there? I would love to know your thoughts.

Escentual Micellar Blind Trial

Hello lovely ladies, I hope your all having a fantastic weekend! Last week I was invited by Escentual to take part in a blind testing trail of some of the top French Micellar waters that you can get hold off. I'm sure your all aware that micellar water cleansers have taken the beauty world by storm now and it seams to be everyone's favourite method to remove makeup and any other inpurities in our skin. With so many fantastic brands out there having their own versions of mincellar water, it can be difficult for us beauties to choose the right ones that will work best for our skin and of course to know which one really does come out on top.

Escentual have set myself and 99 other beauty bloggers the task of trying and testing some of the most well known micellar waters that you can get your hands on. However we are all going in blind as each sample of micellar water has been placed into seven different droplet bottles, labeled from A-G so we really have no idea which brand of micellar water has been placed in each one. Not only do we have the task of deciding our favourite one over the course of two weeks, but we also have to rate each sample on a number of different things -

Cleansing power - How well it removes makeup
Pleasure of use - Best texture and best scent
Reactivity - Best comfort/colour
Moisture balance - Best Moisturiser
Bottom Line - Would you use it again?
Favourite - Best overall sample

Once the two weeks are up, each beauty blogger that's participating in the micellar blind trail shall fill in an online survey on the Escentual site to see which micellar water comes out on top.

As well as completing the survey for Ecentual, I thought that this would be a fantastic opportunity to share with you all how I get on with each sample and how I rate each one. I might even give it ago at guessing which sample is which, but seeing as I've never tried any of the products in each sample this may be difficult. The products in each sample are as follows (in no particular order):

Dior Instant Cleansing Water
Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water
Caudalie Makeup Remover Cleansing Water
Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution
Vichy Purete Thermale Cleansing Micellar Solution
Avenue Micellar Lotion Cleansing Water
La Roche Posay Micellar Solution

I'm really excited to be taking part in this blind trail as so often (myself included) we can easily buy into a brand because of the hype going on around it. This trail gives me the chance to test each of these famous micellar waters on an even level, so I can really try and test each one without making any prejudgements. I for one can't wait to find out the results and to find which brand I find myself most drawn too. In two weeks time I will be sure to let you all know just how I get on and do a mini review for you all on each one. Hopefully this will help you beauties make a decision on which micellar water will work best for you.

Have you been loving any of the micellar waters listed above? I would love to know your thoughts.

April Favourites

Hello lovely ladies, this post is a little overdue, but I've had such a busy week, that it's just been a nightmare getting around to taking pictures for this post. But better late than never right? I've had quite a few products that I have been loving this month, so without rambling on too much I'll jump right into the post.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter
The other week I picked up a bottle of one of my most loved and favourite everyday moisturisers. I absolutely love the Cocoa Butter formula from Palmer's, not only does it smell amazing, but it works wonders on your skin. I love the way that this hydrates my skin, leaving it feeling ever so soft and silky smooth. If your ever suffering from dry skin, and don't have time to apply a body butter first thing in the morning, then the Palmer's Cocoa Butter is great for giving your skin that quick fix of hydration. It works wonders and maintaining your tan too, which is a must for this time of year. If you would like to read my full review of this moisturiser, you can read my full review here.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution
I picked this up around three weeks ago because for the longest of time I've been wanting to try a water based cleanser to free my face from all makeup. I've never tried the famous Bioderma before, but I was told that this was a fantastic dupe by the lovely lady at the L'Oreal counter in Boots and I was sold immediately. I have to say I am most impressed with this Mincellar Solution from L'Oreal as it really does make taking off makeup a dream. I use this as well as using my normal cleanser and I've found that my skin feels so much cleaner and I've noticed less breakouts which is a huge plus. What I really love about the L'Oreal 3 in 1 Mincellar Solution is that it's really affordable and is so easy to get hold off. I picked mine up for £4.99 from Boots, but I know that loads of supermakets such as Asda and Tesco have this on offer right now - The perfect excuse to top up I think as I know I will definitely be repurchasing this. I will be sure to get a full review of this up soon beauties, so keep updated if your wanting to find out more about this water based cleanser.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Lychee
Normally when it comes to painting my nails I'm immediately am drawn to pretty pinks and bright neon's  Although I have quite a few nudes in my collection, I never gravitate towards them and they often get neglected. However I recently picked up the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in the shade Lychee and I've not worn anything else on my nails for weeks now. This has to be the prettiest nude that I have ever worn on my nails and I love how the Hi-Shine formula gives this nude the perfect glossy finish. I also love how amazing this colour looks on your nails when you have a tan, it makes the nude colour pop out even more, and gives your nails that perfect manicure look.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
A few months back I finally picked up some of the much hyped about Stay Matte Powder from Rimmel. So many beauty bloggers rave about how amazing this powder is, so I finally decided to pick on up and I have to say I'm so impressed. The Stay Matte Powder works amazingly at keeping your skin on top of shine control and gives you that nice even skin tone finish to your overall makeup look. I've used it so much since I've bought it that I've already hit pan on it. This has definitely become a makeup bag essential.

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in Aphrodite Scarlet
I have been loving this lipstick from L'Oreal Rouge Caresse, this one in is in the shade Aphrodite Scarlet and is such a pretty shade for Spring. Aphrodite Scarlet is a pretty pink toned red, but it applies very sheer and gives your lips a lovely subtle pop of colour, it can easily be built up for a more vibrant look if needed which I love. I'm in love with this shade and I wear it on those days where I'm not wanting a dramatic look, but still want to wear a pretty bright colour on my lips. I love how hydrating these are too.

Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon
It goes without saying that the Revlon Lip Butters are amazing lip products and I wont go into too much as too why I love them. But recently I picked up one of the new limited edition shades in Wild Watermelon and I absolutely adore it. It's a beautiful bright pink toned red and which is very similar to the shade of a watermelon. I love the colour as its very bright and really stands out on your lips and like with all the Revlon Lip Butters, it's very moisturising and hydrating. This is the perfect shade for this time of year.

Mac Eye Kohl in Smolder
I have been loving this eyeliner from Mac ever since I splurged out and treated myself to it. It is a little on the pricey side for an eyeliner retailing at £14.00 but in my opinion is worth every penny. I love how creamy the formula of this eyeliner is and I find that it glides across my lids like a dream. It also is the perfect eyeliner to use on your waterline as its staying power is amazing. A little of this really does go along way, not to mention the the length of the pencil is so long, so I'm pleased I splashed out as this little beauty gem will last me ages.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder
When it comes to bronzer, the chocolate Bronzing Powder from Bourjois has always been a firm favourite of mine, I love everything about it. For me it's the perfect shade of bronzer that works amazingly at giving you that beautiful sun kissed look. I also find it works fabulously for contouring too. If you would like to read my full review on this bronzer you can find it here.

So that's it for my favourites, I would love to know what you have been loving recently and if any of your faves match mine.

Worldwide Wardrobe Competition - New York

Hello lovely ladies, I'm back with you today with my second entry for the Worldwide Wardrobe Competition from Travel Supermarket. Today I'm showcasing an outfit which is for a cocktail evening in New York. If you would like to see my last outfit (A full moon party in Thailand) and all the details on how to enter this competition yourself you can check my last post here.

When I think of New York, two of my favourite TV series pop into mind, Gossip Girl and the Famous Sex in the City. So when I had the chance to put together an outfit for a cocktail evening in New York I immediately thought of New York's elite and wanted to find the perfect outfit that would make you fit right in with New York's best dressed. Monochrome is very in at the moment and I wanted to pick an outfit that reflected this trend, I also knew that I wanted to pick a beautiful dress as it is a cocktail evening and a dress is always the perfect excuse to get dressed up. When scouting the Lipsy website this gorgeous yet elegant black and white pleated skirt prom dress caught my eye. It ties in with the monochrome look fabulously but is feminine and eye catching all at the same time. This dress is very Carrie Bradshaw (Sex in the City) and Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl) - Two of my most favourite characters that have been on our tv screens, all rolled into one which makes this the perfect dress for sipping on a cocktail or two in NY.

I love how this dress is such a statement, as the cut out detailing on the back is just gorgeous and really takes this dress from being ordinary to fabulous. I didn't pick a jacket as you wouldn't want to cover up such a pretty dress and take anything away from the detailing at the back. The pleated skirt to this dress makes it so feminine and elegant but playful at the same time and is sure to get heads turning. I've paired this Lipsy dress with some black and white colour block platform court shoes as they tie in perfectly with the colour scheme as well as giving you that little bit of height and extra bit of glam.

As the dress is so gorgeous I've kept accessories to a minimum. I found this pretty, yet sophisticated encrusted ribbon clutch bag from Faith as it's simple, but the small detailing of the ribbon with its little gems adds a little bit of sparkle to this outfit, which makes it perfect for the evening. As for jewellery, again I wanted something simple, but a piece that would tie in with the whole outfit and this black stone bracelet from Thomas Sabo works beautifully.

Overall I love this outfit and think it's perfect for having a few cheeky cocktails in New York's wonderful cocktail bars. It will make you feel right in with New York's finest as you will look like a million dollars whilst also making a fashion statement at the same time.

What do you think of this outfit? Is this something you would wear? Let me know in the comments below beauties as I would love to know your thoughts.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder AKA Chocolate Bronzer | Full Review

Hi gorgeous girls, I hope you have all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend, and if you've been unfortunate to have been working for the majority of it, then I feel your pain - But hey at least there are only four more days left till the weekend :) Today I wanted get my review up on my most loved bronzer ever, which is of course the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder, otherwise known as the 'Chocolate Bronzer' due to its chocolaty smell. Expect to see the word LOVE in this review a lot, because this bronzer has been in a staple in my beauty routine for six years now and within those six years, theres not really a day that's passed where I've not used it - If that's not love for a beauty item, then I don't know what is.

For me the Bourjois Chcolate Bronzer ticks all the boxes and has everything that you need and want from a bronzer, its a great all rounder - It's perfect for contouring, using all over the skin for that for that sunkissed look and is the perfect bronzer to use as a blush on those minimal makeup days in the height of summer. The Bourjois chocolate bronzer has a matte finish which is perfect as I find it blends flawlessly into  your skin to give you that natural bronzed look, especially if your using this for an all over bronzed look. The colouring of this bronzer for me is just perfect as it really adds a lovely warmth to your skin and gives a you a glowing sunkissed look which I love. Admittedly the bonzer does have subtle orange undertones too it, however your going to get this with most bronzers - Afterall you have to think why your applying a bronzer in the first place, right? But don't worry your not going to come out looking like an orangutan! It's not that sort of orange. When ever I apply this, I find that the bronzer gives me a warm healthy look and adds a touch of radiance to my skin. One of my favourite things about the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer is that its really buildable, as the bonzer doesn't pick up too much product on application - Which also makes this the perfect bronzer for contouring. With one light sweep across the bronzer with your brush, will give you just the right amount of product to  give you that gorgeous sunkissed look. If you are looking to add more product to complete your look, then I love how you can add more product easily without it looking cakey on your skin. This is because the texture of this bronzer is ever so light and it really does feel so smooth and soft to the touch.

The Bourjois chocolate bronzer does have light flecks of shimmer in it, as you can see from the pictures and my swatches, but fear not beauties as its not going to make your face sparkle and shine. I find that you can't even see the flecks of shimmer when its on your face - I'm pretty sure that it is these subtle shimmers which gives that bronzer that gorgeous warm glow though, so it's key that they are there, I'm sure of it. I've always used the shade 52, which I believe is the darkest shade Bourjois do in this bronzer, but for you fair skinned beauties, Bourjois do have a lighter shade, which I'm sure will work perfectly for those of you who worry about bronzers being a bit dark for you. Another thing that this bronzer gets a lot of comments about, is its unique smell - It's not called the chocolate bronzer for nothing. I find that the smell leans more towards a vanilla scent, rather than chocolate, but either way it smells yummy. However I find that as soon as it's applied on my skin, I can't smell it at all - So for those of you with sensitive skin, I think you will be just fine using this as the scent is not a heavy one.

As for packaging Bourjois have kept it fuss free and have popped it in this cardboard box with a heavy magnetic strip. I love how easy this is to pop in your makeup bag as its pretty thin. I also love the colours Bourjois have used as I think it's ever so eye catching and has a bit of a different look to other bronzers that you can get. The only thing that would make this packaging perfect, would be if there was a little compact mirror built into the opposite side of the bronzer for a quick touch up on the go. But for its £6.99 price tag I certainly can't complain  I think it's ever so cute how it opens up like a little book though, and it always makes me smile to see the little treasure that's inside - As a sucker for packaging it's these little things which I love.

I can't ever see myself without this bronzer and I simply can't fault it in anyway. I've tried a lot of bronzers from high end to cheap as chips and nothing else compares to this. Although I must admit, I've still not gotten my beauty mitts on the NARS Laguna Bronzer, which I am dying to try. I've just not splurged out on it yet as I love the Bourjois Chocolate  so much and why change something that works perfectly for you? But if you have tried both bronzers, I would love to know how you find it compares and if you think I should splurge on the NARS Laguna as I've heard nothing but rave reviews - And if I'm completely honest, just looking for a good excuse to treat myself to it :)

If you've not tried the Bourjois Delice de Poudre yet, I urge you to pick one up on your next beauty spend at Boots as you wont be disappointed  With summer just around the corner, this is the perfect time to give this a whirl. You can pick it up from Boots here or if your feeling lucky Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie and I are giving away one of these chocolate bronzers in our huge collaborate giveaway which you can find all the details on how to enter here.

Do you love this bronzer as much as I do? I would love to know your thoughts.

Worldwide Wardrobe Competition - Thailand

Hello beauty babes, I'm sure you've all seen or heard about the new Worldwide Wardrobe Competition floating around on your favourite blogs (aren't there some fabulous entries?) and when I was contacted by Travel Supermarket on all the details on how to enter, I couldn't resit and jumped at the chance to create some outfits for some fabulous destinations. Just incase your not aware of the Worldwide Wardrobe Competition, Travel Supermarket have set us beauty bloggers the task of creating five different outfits for five different locations with a theme for each location. You have sightseeing in Paris, Clubbing in Ibiza, Shopping in London, Cocktails in New York and Partying at a full moon party in Thailand. The lucky winners (one for each location) will win the outfit they have created plus a holiday to that destination - What an amazing prize! If you would like to get involved and be in a chance of winning yourself you can find the link here which will give you all the information you need to enter yourself.

Below is my first entry which is for partying at a full moon party in Thailand  I hope you enjoy the look I've created and even if we don't have the chance to be whisked away to the chosen destination, they may bring some fashion inspiration your way.

Partying at a Full Moon Party in Thailand

When I think of Thailand, I think sunny hot climates and absolutely beautiful scenery; I've never been before, but know quite a few people that have and they all say the same - Quite simply a stunning place to visit and should be a destination on everyone's bucket list. When picking out my outfit for the full moon party, I really wanted something that would compliment Thailand's beauty, whilst picking something ever so fashionable and on trend at the same time. I started off my outfit with picking this metallic leather fringing top from ASOS as it's quite simply stunning and its such a statement piece, which is sure to get heads turning. I adore the reflective blues, greens and purple hazes patterned on to the leather and think that this would look just beautiful reflected in the light of the full moon. The fringing on this top would make this an easy piece to wear for such a hot destination as you don't have that worry of the fabric clinging to you. The detailed fringing of this top also allows you lot of movement and most importantly creates movement. I can just see you having a right old dance on the beach with the fringing of this top swishing from side to side.

As the top is such a statement piece, I've decided to pair it with some simple, but classic hot pants. If your in somewhere as hot as Thailand then its the perfect excuse to whip out your short shorts, right? I love these acid aqua ones from Topshop as they are a beautiful bright blue and work beautifully with the top. I also picked these because the Moto range from Topshop is such a lightweight denim which will make for easy wearing in Thailand.

No full moon party would be complete with out a bikini, and with the fringing top being so...open, its important to have something underneath. I can't think of a better item that a bikini top as it means you can whip the top off at any time when that occasion pops up to have a splash in the sea, and with a full moon party on the beach, you can guarantee that you'll end up in the water at some point. I picked this gorgeous tie die bikini from the Pacha range from River Island as the colours in the bikini compliment the colours on the top perfectly. The square studded detailing make this bikini a little bit of a statement piece too which I love. Underneath the top the studs will catch the light and just adds a bit of that extra wow factor to your whole outfit.

To accessorise the outfit I picked this gorgeous floral crown as this will make you fit right in with the Thailand's gorgeous scenery and add a touch of femininity to the overall look at the same time. For shoes I've picked these studded slingbacks as I think studs and floral's work so well together and create a perfect contrasting look. The slingbacks mean that they are super easy to whip of your feet when the time comes to party in the light of the full moon. And no outfit is complete with some jewellery. I've chosen these ombre chain bracelets as they add some contrasting colours to the outfit, but they are quite small and dainty at the same time, which wont take too much attention away from the top.

To complete the outfit, I've chosen some retro hexagonal sunglasses which work perfectly with the outfit. With Thailand being super hot and sunny, protecting your eyes is a must, as well as giving you that 'diva' look. I love how these hexagonal ones are rimless at the bottom which doesn't make these sunglasses the vocal point of this outfit. The sunnies are a must and complete the outfit quite nicely.

So that's my outfit for partying at a full moon party in Thailand, is this something that you would wear? If you've popped an entry into the Worldwide Wardrobe Competition let me know in the comments below as I would love to take a look.

Good Luck everyone and Lot's of Love
